PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED BY SPECIFIED DATE IN THE PUNCHBOWL EMAILFOR ANY EVENT REGISTRATION TO CONFIRM YOUR SEAT(S).
PAYMENTS SHOULD BE MADE USING PAYPALS TRANSFER MONEY TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY OPTION THAT IS NO-FEE.

Do NOT make checks out to Stan personally or abbreviate the name like AWS OIB, since the bank is NOT accepting any name variations of those checks for deposit.
Please also note our new Guest Policy. All OIB primary and secondary members will be allowed to register during the first week of open registration. If you would like to invite guests, please note the names and number of your guests in the message section of your Punchbowl reply. Guests will be allowed to register for any available slots after the first week of open registration on an as received basis. Please note, that all guests are to bring their own wine glass to this event.

THIS PROCESS ALLOWS STAN & CAROL PROPER TIME TO CONFIRM # OF ATTENDEES/PAYMENTS OR OPEN AVAILABILITY TO OTHERS.
Since seating is limited, we request that you cancel your reservation via your original Punchbowl mailing, in the event that you are unable to attend and remember your prepayment. Or contact Stan directly.
Since payments are very important to subsidize events, we regret that there are NO REFUNDS for NO SHOWS.
Attendance at each function is open to all AWS members & their registered guests up to the capacity limits of the function or venue.
- Prior to each event, approx 3-4 weeks before the event date, Chapter Chairperson Stan Barwikowski sends out an Punchbowl e-mail to active members of the chapter on the email distribution list.
- Please respond to that Punchbowl invite either Yes, No or Maybe (if your still considering attending) ASAP to allow Stan to continually monitor how many members are looking to attend.
- When responding, please include the total number in your group via the drop down list in the Punchbowl invite.
- If the event is not filled, you will be able to process the request AND will receive an email directly from the Punchbowl system as confirmation.
- If the event is filled, you will not be able to process your selection.
- Stan usually maintains a wait list, that requires members to send a direct email to Stan.
- Most events are limited to the first 44 participants that "register" via Punchbowl and follow-up with "payment" to the Chapters Paypal account.
- The cost of the tasting will be noted in EACH invitation sent out.
Usually $20 now for AWS MEMBERS, guests will be stated cost plus a $5 guest fee.
Fees are determined based on type of event, costs for specific types of wine per event. - Prior to the tasting, the chapter has been offering a social / welcome wine.
